I am using an Android phone and I have wired it to my Ubuntu laptop with USB. I have scrcpy installed, which mirrors Android to Ubuntu, but I'd like a program that does the opposite: mirror Ubuntu to Android so that the Android phone acts as a monitor or secondary display to Ubuntu.

This is sad to see that no such solution is present as an answer to this question. On windows, I found this application called spacedesk this lets me use my android phone as display output and, to my surprise, it also let me control my output via mobile touchscreen. All I need is to install spacedesk on my phone and pc and the connect the device. I can choose the resolution in my phone (plenty of resolutions available) and can conncet using USB to experience lag free connection. No mannual work needed after the setup. Restart PC and phone's screen starts to act as display output as soon as the windows OS boots up.
