I'm using Ubuntu 16.04 and Windows 10 Education on dual boot. I'd like to upgrade to 18.04 but after researching on this topic I see that it quite often comes to severe problems. So I would like to ask if I can make a kind of diagnostics for my system(s) to find out if there could be any problems?

Win10 and Ubuntu are on the same SSD. I use ProBook 440 G4. NB: Currently struggling with the problem: "unable to resolve host".
