To those who believe symbol grounding can be solved by grounding in sensory data. How would they ground the word "I"? "I" is different. It doesn’t refer to a sensory object but to the subject having the sensory experiences. I am of the opinion this is in some sense brings a unique challenge for the symbol grounding problem? Can someone recommend me a paper where this question has been explored?
