Triangle/Foot/Definition

In a triangle ${\displaystyle {}A,B,C}$ in a Euclidean plane, the intersecting point of the altitude line through ${\displaystyle {}A}$ with the line given by ${\displaystyle {}B}$ and ${\displaystyle {}C}$ is called the foot of this altitude.
