If so, what were these changes and how did they affect the process of selecting winners? I’ve Googled it, but I couldn't find a clear answer.

I've seen no media reports that he has done so, and even if he did purport to do so, he probably doesn't have the legal authority to do so without an act of Congress.

The relevant part of the U.S. Secretary of State website does not indicate that there has been any change.

This said, President Trump has asserted that he has the power to revoke green cards (i.e. visas granting lawful permanent residency) based upon their speech about topics that he disagrees with, although the statute he is relying upon was once declared unconstitutional by his sister, when acting as a U.S. District Court judge (no binding precedent resulted, however, since it was overturned on procedural grounds), and this authority has subsequently been questioned by other courts.
