Hello! My name is Aashavi Mistry and I’m a second year student at York University pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Information Technology. In the future I plan on focusing on cybersecurity.
Ever since I was in high school I have found technology and security to be intriguing and with the rise of technological advancements I have realized how important it is to be safe online. Cybersecurity interests me because it offers the opportunity to solve digital crimes, such as hacking and identity theft, and protect companies and people. The fast-paced environment of this field creates new challenges every day. For someone like me who enjoys problem solving, cybersecurity is the perfect path for me.

- In my free time, I enjoy reading, hiking, and painting. Whether I’m diving into a good book or trekking through nature, I find learning new things enjoyable.
