Use a T25 Torx screwdriver to remove the five screws securing the front handle to the bottom and right side of the device:

Four 24 mm-long screws

One 25 mm-long screw

Push the guide bar towards the back of the device to create slack in the saw chain.

Pull the guide bar away from the device to separate the saw chain from the clutch drum.

Remove the guide bar.

When disconnecting the ignition coil from the spark plug cap, it is recommended to add dish soap to the cap. This should allow you to easily pull the ignition coil and terminal out of the cap. This can be done by hand, use pliers if needed.

Replace the ignition coil tubing if needed at this step.

Gently squeeze the pointed end of the terminal into the end of the ignition coil using a pair of pliers.

Slide the ignition coil/terminal connection back in to the spark plug cap/boot. Add a drop or two of dish soap to the small opening on the spark plug cap/boot to make this easier.

Clean any residual dish soap from the spark plug cap/boot before connecting it to the spark plug.
