Introduction

Use this guide to remove the battery in the Asus R510CA-OB01. In the event that your laptop doesn't charge, or doesn't work in general, you can use this guide to replace the battery in your device.

Step 1

Locate the two switches that lock the battery.
Then, push the right switch outward to unlock it.

Step 2

Push the left switch outward and push the battery upward at the same time.

Step 3

Use a Li-ion battery as a replacement for your battery.

For the keyboard and mousepad replacement, you don’t need to replace the battery.
