Introduction
This guide will provide you step-by-step instructions on how to replace your Acer Chromebook's display panel. You may need to replace your display panel, or screen, for many reasons. These include, but are not limited to, a cracked or broken screen, a dim or flickering screen, or reduced pixels.

Close the lid.

Orient the laptop so that the part connecting screen and keyboard is facing you.

Place the opening pick in-between crevice and separate parts by sliding the pry tool back and forth.

Place the opening pick in between the border covering the screen and the screen and slide back and forth. Do this all around the entire border.

Pull off the loose border with your hands.

Use Philips #1 screwdriver to remove the two 5mm screws on each side of the opposite corners on the top of the Chromebook.

Use the Philips #1 screwdriver to remove the 5mm screws on each side of the bottom left and right corners of the screen.

Remove nuts and washers with blunt tweezers on the hinge connecting the screen to the keyboard.

Take screen off by pulling it away from the hinge connecting it to the keyboard.

Peel off tape running over metal buckle that is holding down the display cable connector.

Unclip the small metal buckle by placing your finger or spudger under the buckle and lifting upwards.

Hold buckle and display cable connector then gently pull display cable connector out of socket

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
