On my laptop i have installed some versions of ubuntu maybe around 5 or less, and in the present i have ubuntu 25.04 and in all of them i tried suspend mode that consumes lots of energy in around 8 hours in battery mode the energy goes from 100% to 0%
When in the same laptop a Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 5, windows 11 dont consume alomost no energy in suspend mode, i can go for days in suspend mode
My question is ubuntu will ever not use as much energy as it does in suspend mode? and use the same energy like windows 11 do on my laptop? And is Canocical aware of this or trying to fix this ? and will a upade in ubuntu 25.04 fix this? or will be in a future version like ubntu 25.10 or later?
Note: And in my opion and many i saw in youtube also who have use snaps, snaps is not very good, and its seems a waste of resources when everyone could contribute to flatpacks, even if canocical didnt won much money. But like unity to gnome seems like will end one day hopefully and ubuntu uses flatpacks. But that is a side note , to help ubuntu be better someday. And most distros use flatpacks.Ubuntu should change for flatpacks
